- The diaper probably fits longer than a lot of other one-size diapers. When I received the diaper I was able to use it on the middle rise setting for my then 25-26 lb 19 month old. I had to use other one-size diapers on the largest setting at that time.
- The diaper dries quickly.
- The diaper washes well. After many washes, the fabric still looks good (with slight pilling on the suedecloth which is to be expected).
- Double gussets are great for runny poops.
- The wet bag is a great size and I like having the two pockets – one pocket for clean items and one for dirty ones. I love using this wet bag for cloth wipes, washcloths, mama cloth, etc.
Cons
- The diaper seems slightly bulkier than some other ones I’ve tried. This is probably because of the second set of gussets and the slightly wider bum coverage. I’m used to trim homemade diapers though, so most people might not notice this.
- The second set of gussets is not useful when using the diaper as an AI2 since the insert will be on top of the inside gussets. The gussets will only add bulk, but have no function in this case.
- 3 snaps on each wing can be a little more challenging (especially when trying to change a toddler while he’s standing as is the case in our house). Might not be a problem for most people since a lot of cloth diapers have 3 snaps on each wing and most cloth diaperers are used to that.
NOTE: I have not tested this diaper overnight because I use a different system for night-time.
