		<description>Hi Rachel - Yes, I do add the tea tree oil to the washing machine. I used to add 4-5 drops of the oil.  Now that I use soapnut liquid, I have tea tree in the liquid already (to keep it from going bad too quickly).  Be careful with the oil if you use pocket diapers with synthetic fabric, i.e. microfleece or suedecloth.  I would try less oil for those diapers. 

As for open sores, you might want to dilute it before use.  Also, try to do a spot test first.  

Tea tree can be used for a lot of things. I love it :-)</description>
